Q: Do you deliver every image you shoot?
A: No, we do not. We eliminate duplicate images, test shots, missed focused shots, shots with bad expressions and other images that may dilute the overall product delivery. For example, because we shoot with low apertures, sometimes we take a few extra shots to make sure we have the perfect focus. We don’t expect you to have the expertise or the time to zoom into each image to select the one with the sharpest focus, so we spend hours doing that on our end. In another example, candid laughs and emotional tears are some of the best images from the day. Unfortunately, they can also yield some unflattering facial expressions. We might snap a few extras of any of these moments to make sure we have a great shot with the ideal expression for the moment. With our expertise of processing millions of images each year, we may eliminate ones that we feel are duplicates and only deliver the best one.
Q: How long in advance should I reserve my wedding date?
A: If you're thinking of having your wedding on a Saturday, then earlier is better. I often book popular Saturdays over a year in advance. Generally speaking, as soon as you've booked your venue, you should begin your search for a wedding photographer and put down a deposit as soon as you can.
Q: How long does it take to receive my wedding photographs?
A: Every wedding is different, but you’ll generally receive your finished photographs in 6-8 weeks. Weddings may take longer during the busy months of March-May and October-December but all of that will be communicated in advance.
Q: Do you do destination weddings? What additional fees are associated with destination weddings?
A: While my Wedding Photography business is based out of Jacksonville, FL, I serve clients all around the world. My destination wedding photography packages include the cost of travel and reasonable accommodations.
Q: Do you edit all the images in our image gallery?
A: Yes, I do. Every image I deliver is post produced with my unique signature style. This involves color correction, exposure adjustment, selective black and white processing, clarity adjustments, tone-mapping, and other corrections.
Q: Do you deliver RAW images?
A: No. As mentioned above, I will edit the pictures to look their best and represent my work in a standard manner so other couples know what their pictures would look like when the see pictures of weddings.
Q: How many images do you deliver?
A: Although I believe in quality over quantity, you don't need to worry! You will receive between 50-80 pictures per hour of photography that is in your package.
Q: Do you have my date available?
